WHAT IS COVERED MANUFACTURING FAULTS

Verified faults affecting the product’s materials, structure or construction.

ELIGIBLE OUTCOMES REPAIR, REPLACE OR REFUND

The appropriate outcome will depend on the issue and warranty assessment.

OUR WARRANTY

STAUNCH MODE stands behind the quality, materials and construction of every product in our range.

All STAUNCH MODE products are covered by a one-year manufacturing warranty from the original date of purchase.

This warranty applies to verified manufacturing faults affecting the structural integrity, materials or construction of the product when it has been used normally and for its intended purpose.

WHAT IS COVERED

The warranty may apply where a product develops a fault caused by its manufacturing, materials or construction during the one-year warranty period.

Eligible manufacturing faults may include issues affecting:

  • The structural integrity of the attachment.
  • The materials used in the product.
  • The way the product was manufactured or assembled.
  • The product’s ability to perform its intended function because of a manufacturing defect.
Every claim is assessed individually. Evidence of damage or failure does not automatically confirm that the issue was caused by a manufacturing fault.

WARRANTY OUTCOMES

If we confirm that a product has an eligible manufacturing fault, STAUNCH MODE will provide an appropriate outcome based on the nature of the issue and your rights under applicable law.

REPAIR

Repair of the affected product where this is appropriate and practical.

REPLACEMENT

Replacement with the same product or a suitable equivalent where required.

REFUND

A refund where appropriate based on the fault and applicable consumer rights.

We may request that the product be returned or made available for inspection before confirming the outcome.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

The STAUNCH MODE manufacturing warranty does not cover faults or damage caused by circumstances outside the manufacture of the product.

  • Normal wear and tear resulting from regular product use.
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligent use, abuse or improper handling.
  • Damage caused by incorrect installation, attachment or use with unsuitable equipment.
  • Damage caused by outdoor exposure, excessive moisture or unsuitable storage conditions.
  • Damage caused by unauthorised alterations, modifications or repairs.
  • Failure to reasonably clean, inspect or maintain the product.
  • Claims made outside the one-year manufacturing warranty period.
  • Claims submitted without reasonable proof of purchase or enough information to assess the issue.
These exclusions apply to the additional STAUNCH MODE manufacturing warranty. They do not exclude any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

MAKING A WARRANTY CLAIM

To help us assess your warranty claim efficiently, please provide:

  • Your full name and contact details.
  • Your order number or another valid proof of purchase.
  • The name of the affected product.
  • A clear description of the issue and when it occurred.
  • Clear photos or videos showing the fault or damage.
  • Any additional information reasonably required to assess the claim.

Please do not dispose of, alter or continue using a product that may be unsafe or may need to be inspected as part of the claim.

ASSESSMENT AND RETURN COSTS

We will review the information supplied and may request additional evidence, testing or return of the product before making a final assessment.

Where a product is confirmed to have an eligible manufacturing fault, STAUNCH MODE will provide the appropriate remedy and cover reasonable return shipping costs where required by law.

Where the issue is not covered by the manufacturing warranty, any optional return, replacement or repair arrangement will be discussed with you before further costs are incurred.

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The one-year STAUNCH MODE manufacturing warranty is provided in addition to these rights and does not replace, restrict or exclude them.
